Growth Of Indian Cyber-Security!
Cybersecurity is an extremely significant issue in the world. Dealing with Cyber-security has to be effectively and efficiently planned out. Today’s generation depends on the internet more than any other thing. Most of the work nowadays also takes place online, that is, through the internet. Internet usage has become a huge part of everyone’s life and actually, no one can function without it today. And with the internet also comes its security and making all kinds of effort to keep it safe. Cybersecurity is therefore a vast field that involves taking all kinds of measures for keeping the internet safe.
Millions of people from all around the globe work on the internet and they have to be absolutely sure that nothing goes wrong whilst they are using the internet for their personal errands. Cyber-privacy has evolved a lot over time in India and has gained immense importance over all this time. And why shouldn’t it? It is because of Cyber-security that we get utilize the internet to the fullest, without any limitations of any kind. India is a land of diversities wherein the internet is a priority for everyone and similarly Cyber-security, too, is extremely significant for the people as well. As per the reports, India’s Cybersecurity market is supposed to touch USD 3bn by 2022. Estimates have also revealed that the cybersecurity market in India is expected to grow from USD 1.97 billion in 2019 to USD 3.05 billion by 2022, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.6% which is almost one and a half times the global rate.
Furthermore, some reports have stated that the Indian Cybersecurity services industry is expected to grow from $4.3 billion in 2019-20 to $7.6 billion in 2022. Additional to this, around 80% of this revenue will come from the global markets, as stated by India Cyber-security Services Landscape (report by Data Security Council of India (DSCI)).
Attracting Global Investment in Cyber-security and Strengthening our Cyber-security Posture is also an important aspect of Cyber-security in the country. Since security is such an integral component of our lifestyle, global investment in Cyber-privacy has also become common. And, more & more people are planning and investing in the same with each passing day. People are understanding the importance of Cyber-privacy on a larger scale is prepared to invest in it as well. Awareness is also being raised for this among the people so that they get to learn something new through this as well as value the importance of Cyber-security.
Strengthening security posture is also necessary along with the investments that are done globally. And, the strengthening can only take place when people truly understand what it means to keep the internet safe for usage. To strengthen our system for the protection and prevention of malicious use of data and information over the internet, Cyber-security actually exists. Basically, this is a defense mechanism we have prepared to shield ourselves from the harm that the internet might cause. Cyber-security is real and must be implied in every field with strictness so that there isn’t any harm caused to the people over the internet.
